Meeting Events
ICPM 2026 will offer different occasions to help you get to know the city of Heidelberg as well as your fellow meeting attendees. More information will be available soon.
Welcome Reception, July 12
The Welcome Reception will take place on Sunday at the Psychological Institute. If the weather cooperates, we will meet in courtyard. If it rains, the Welcome Reception will be held indoors.
PhD Event, July 14
The PhD Event will take place on Tuesday night. More information will be available soon.
Thursday Panel Discussion and Networking Event, July 16
On Thursday, we will start with a panel discussion followed by a networking event, where you can exchange scientific ideas and spend time with colleagues and accompanying persons if you wish. The program includes a visit to the castle and a boat trip, which also features the conference dinner. Please note that all Thursday events are included in the regular conference ticket. Additionally, 1-Day Tickets are available for the scientific program and networking events on Thursday. This ticket can also be booked for accompanying persons who wish to attend the social events only. Should you wish to bring children up to and including the age of 6 to the events on Thursday, please indicate this on the registration form. Children up to this age are free of charge; older children also require a Thursday ticket to be booked.
Event in Heidelberg prior to the ICPM
If you are already in Heidelberg, we recommend you attend the following event
Heidelberg Castle Illumination on July 11
There will be a “glowing castle” and fireworks at the legendary Castle Illumination. We highly recommend that you travel to Heidelberg on Saturday before the conference begins. We will organize a get-together for which you can register via a short survey shortly before the event. Further information can be found here.
